The Grange is approximately 1.5 miles from the centre of Hailsham, a charming East Sussex market town with a long and rich history. In the 19th century it was known far and wide for its rope and twine manufacturing. It supplied ropes for the royal navy and also hangmans ropes for Britain and the Colonies!
