The Cruden Group achieved triple success at this year's Homes For Scotland Awards, picking up the coveted 'Home Builder of the Year 2012' accolade, in addition to a further two category awards at a prestigious ceremony in Edinburgh.
The Cruden Group impressed the panel of judges with its varied selection of high-quality, affordable developments across the East and West of Scotland.
More than 700 industry representatives in attendance at the high-profile awards ceremony, billed as the premier event in the Scottish home building industry's calendar, then voted The Cruden Group 'Home Builder of the Year.'
A development of spacious two bedroom luxury apartments and duplexes, most with balconies, terraces or winter gardens, overlooking Glasgow Green and the People’s Palace.
Verde does not compromise on space or quality. Each of the apartments has two generously sized bedrooms with an en suite to the master bedroom and some benefit from additional private outdoor living space, perfect for al fresco dining. The Winter Garden allows natural light to flood into the spacious living, dining and kitchen areas which also boasts under floor heating, an integrated sound system and chrome down lighters throughout the apartment.
The open plan kitchen comes complete with a separate central island and features high quality integrated SMEG appliances, including a five burner ceramic hob, oven, microwave, and double extractor hood with a stainless steel splash back. The kitchen also includes an integrated SMEG fridge freezer, dishwasher and optional wine fridge, with an integrated washer dryer located in a separate utility room.
Cruden has carried the luxurious specification of this apartment through to the generous master bedroom and en suite which boasts a double shower, Porcelenosa tiles and contemporary white sanitary with chrome mixer taps and heated towel rail and an integrated mirror.
Verde will appeal to a wide range of buyers from young professionals and Glasgow’s bustling student population, to young families who can take advantage of the park on the doorstep.
LOCATION
Verde, a conversion of the Templeton Factory building, incorporates a façade inspired by the Doge’s Palace in Venice, restored to its original grandeur by Cruden and includes underground parking. The development is located to the east of the city centre within walking distance of Glasgow Green, the iconic People’s Palace and the vibrant Merchant City, with walkways along the River Clyde providing easy access to the city the centre itself.
Verde is situated in the heart of the city’s proposed Commonwealth Games district which will be completely transformed by 2014, not only making Verde a great place to live, but a shrewd investment opportunity. Over the next five years, Glasgow’s East End will undergo a major transformation as the designated area for the 2014 Commonwealth Games. Significant public and private sector investment is already underway to regenerate the banks of the River Clyde from Glasgow Harbour in the West End to Glasgow Green and beyond in the east.
