An exclusive development of only seventeen quality family homes, set in the heart of the Amber Valley.

Watchorn Lawns is conveniently located to the south of Alfreton’s well served town centre. The town and surrounding villages all offer a good choice of shops and services.

Alfreton is home to a library, leisure centre, gardens and woodland park area, several public houses, a selection of restaurants and a Tesco super store. Children are also well served educationally, with infant, primary and secondary schools.

Alfreton is a small town with a population of around 20,000. It has all the necessary local amenities, a large range of shops plus a state of the art leisure centre. For anything else, Derby, Nottingham, Chesterfield and Mansfield are all under 20 miles away.

The Watchorn Lawns development is ideally located with excellent links to the A38 / A61 & M1. The town is served by plenty of buses and the train station connects the town with nearby towns, cities and the national train network.

There is an array of convenient shops in Alfreton, many within walking distance including the Tesco superstore. Nearby Mansfield and Chesterfield both have large shopping centers.

For those not so into their shopping the Peak District National Park covers 555 square miles of beautiful countryside.

13 miles from Alfreton, Hardwick Hall is a 16th century manor house that survives today almost unchanged. Visitors can explore the house and its grounds. 6 miles from Alfreton is Ogston Reservoir and provides many leisure activities including sailing, windsurfing and trout-fishing.

The award-winning Midland Railway at Butterley is 4 miles away and offers a real trip down memory lane. It is operated by the Midland Railway Trust and is also home to the Golden Valley Light Railway: a narrow-gauge line built on the trackbed of a former ironworks railway.
