LocationThe Woodfield Glade development is located in the small town of Birchwood 4.3 miles outside Lincoln Centre. It has shops including a Post office, supermarket and a pharmacy. Bordering Birchwood is Hartsholme County Park, It contains lakes and ornamental grounds dating from the mid-nineteenth century.
Travel
Birchwood and the Woodfield Glade development are ideally located with excellent links to the A46 that bypasses Lincoln in one direction and connects with the A1 in another. The B1190 is the main road through Birchwood and this connects with the B1003 that leads directly into Lincoln.
The town is served by plenty of buses and approximately 1.6 miles away Hykeham Railway Station connects with Lincoln and other towns, cities and the national train network around the country.
Shopping and Leisure There are plenty of shops for everyday amenities close to the Woodfield Glade development. Nearby Lincoln has a large shopping centre and should have anything else you might need. Lincoln has a thriving shopping centre, offering a host of smaller independent shops as well as major High Street names. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and sitting on the River Witham, Lincoln offers excellent leisure and walking opportunities.

Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle are fantastic places of historical interest and well worth a visit.
Birchwood is home to Hartsholme County Park. The park contains lakes and ornamental grounds dating from the mid-nineteenth century. The beautiful park and woodland is extremely close to the development.
Lincoln Drill Hall has recently been renovated and its main auditorium has seen top national musicians and comedians perform.
The Engine Shed is located on the cities university campus and plays host to many bands and performers.
