Only seven homes still for sale at Killingworth Village

Impressive homes in a quiet village location are proving popular.

Impressive homes in a quiet village location are proving popular. Bellway’s new residential quarter, Old Killingworth Manor on the edge of Killingworth Village, North Tyneside, is proving to be one of the company’s most desirable developments.

Just 12 months since it was launched, only seven homes remain for sale out of the original 24. The homes still for sale include the luxurious Haydock showhome.

Bellway sales manager Rob Armstrong said: “Old Killingworth Manor is superbly placed, a short distance from the attractive old village of Killingworth with its traditional stone-fronted properties where residents have a choice of two traditional local pubs, a feature that is clearly appealing to our buyers.

“All the homes are designed in a contemporary architectural style which is bespoke to the development. The homes benefit from additional glazing, providing light and airy rooms, and spacious room layouts offer ideal family accommodation.”

The Haydock showhome provides 2,100sq ft of living accommodation.

The ground floor includes a large entrance porch leading to a well-designed kitchen diner. There is a separate lounge and study, a utility room off the kitchen and a cloakroom.

Upstairs are five good-sized bedrooms, two of which have en-suite facilities, and there is a family bathroom.

The property comes with a double garage with remote-controlled garage doors.

Buyers can select from four individual house types remaining for sale, with prices from £385,000 to £580,000.

Included in the specification of all the homes are integrated appliances including double oven and microwave, down-lighters in the kitchen, bathroom, an en suite and burglar alarm.

The buyers will also receive a £1,500 wardrobe allowance towards fitted furniture plus other additions.

Close to the development are some well-respected schools including the George Stephenson Senior School which this year achieved a 99% pass rate at A-level and is less than a mile away.

For commuters, Killingworth Manor is close to Palmersville Metro Station and has good road links to the A1 and A19. Newcastle International Airport is just nine miles away.
