In May 1983 Andrew and Harold Gadd set up their Contracting and Development business in North Street, Wiveliscombe.

A. & H. Gadd Ltd has seen the scale of its activities and reputation grow considerably on a regional basis conducting contracts across the South West.

A. & H. Gadd Ltd pride themselves on their quality management procedures, and a large number of their staff are professionally qualified with many years experience in the construction industry and membership to the CIOB. Our board of directors includes a Chartered Builder, Chartered Surveyor, Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Banker. We believe that we are amongst a select number of construction companies in the South West to have such a professional management base.
Our policy of training and developing our people whilst producing effective teams who work in coordination with our clients, enables us to provide exactly what our clients need, on time and within budget. We are one of only a few companies in the South West to have achieved ‘Chartered Building Company’ status, which was awarded in 1993.

Our business approach and desire to fulfil our clients needs has achieved repeat business with many of our major clients, operating in the residential, public and commercial sectors. Contract values between £250,000 & £3,000,000 are well within our capability whilst utilising numerous procurement approaches, including full design and build, partnering and traditional procurement approaches.
