Housing Hartlepool is a housing association formed in 2004 following the successful stock transfer of homes from Hartlepool Borough Council.
 
We successfully manage about six thousand homes under our social tenancy scheme, and in addition we have a number of shops on our existing estates that form an integral part of their local community.
 
The association is involved in a number of new build projects throughout the town some for social tenants and some for affordable housing or shared ownership.
 
Having successfully completed a shared ownership project at Trinity Square in Hart Lane, further houses are now available at three other sites, in Sedgewick Park, Blakelock Road and Oxford Road.
 
The credit crunch has only part hit this sector and clients have recently still been able to obtain 100% mortgages to purchase their share.
