Three decades of quality house-building in Yorkshire
Founded in 1978 by current Chairman, Tim Lumb, Orion Homes has rapidly expanded over the last three decades to become one of Yorkshire’s most respected house-builders with a wide-ranging property portfolio that caters for every contemporary need and preference.

We initially began building small, select developments in the Leeds area, where we quickly established a reputation for quality and individuality. We soon branched out to other parts of the region with a commitment to high standards of design and build always at the forefront of our philosophy.

This commitment remains the cornerstone of our approach today: superior specifications are frequently modified and upgraded with the latest fittings and appliances to reflect the changing needs of today’s homebuyers whilst the finest external materials are always chosen to provide a distinctive appearance whilst harmonising with the development’s surroundings. Each year we introduce new designs to our diverse portfolio and we now offer a comprehensive range of styles, including easy-to-manage apartments, stylish semi detached and three storey mews homes and spacious executive detached properties.

Although Orion Homes now build throughout Yorkshire, we have never forgotten our roots as a family company and today we continue to maintain the informal, personalised approach which served our homebuyers so well in the early years and has been appreciated by countless customers since.
