Riverside Home Ownership is a division of Riverside Housing. By selling homes - apartments and houses - on a shared ownership basis, we strive to help people take their first step on the property ladder. We also manage the leaseholds of properties, providing services for residents, such as gardening, repairs and window cleaning.

We sell and manage a wide range of properties including developments specifically aimed at providing elderly people with safe and secure homes that they own, or part-own, themselves.

Riverside is one of the leading providers of Low Cost Home Ownership (LCHO) in the Registered Social Landlord sector. Riverside has sold over one thousand homes, mainly on a shared ownership basis in Merseyside, the North West and the Midlands.

Riverside Housing won the award for 'Best Overall Contribution in Affordable Home Ownership' in 2003, from the National Housing Federation. Our aim is to maintain these high standards in the sale and management of shared ownership homes.

Riverside wants to help build thriving and sustainable communities. We help tenants to acquire the homes they live in through the Preserved Right To Buy (PRTB), Right to Acquire (RTA) and through Riverside’s own 'Home Ownership Scheme for Tenants' (HOST).
