Bridgewater Park
On the eastern fringe of Liverpool, flanked by golf courses and close to fields and countryside yet within easy reach of the city centre, Netherley combines urban living with an open, green ambience. To the west of the Safari Park is Croxteth Hall and Country Park, one of the finest heritage sites in the north west. Set in beautiful woodlands, it includes a working farm and a Victorian walled garden. And to the east, Sherdley Park offers over 200 acres of parkland, formal gardens, woods, a lake, a play area and a popular Pet’s Corner.

Entertainment
The popular Valley Community Theatre, based a few minutes walk from Bridgewater Park, produces shows ranging from Shakespeare to pantomime and musicals. There is a delightful traditional cinema in Woolton Village, around a mile and a half away, and a larger multi-screen complex at Edge Lane Retail Park, where there is also a bowling alley. Even closer, the fine art collection at Sudley House provides a relaxing way to spend a day.

Sport and leisure
Nearby golf facilities include Lee Park Golf Club and Childwall Golf Club, with its magnificent art deco clubhouse, and a covered floodlit golf driving range a few minutes walk from the development. There is a swimming pool around a mile away at Belle Vale and another at Halewood Leisure Centre, where there is also a comprehensive range of fitness and sports facilities.
Shopping
There is a convenient supermarket in Lee Park Avenue, a short walk from the development, and a choice of over 60 stores less than a mile away at Belle Vale Shopping Centre. An even wider selection can be found at The Shopping Village in Lansdowne Way.

Health care
There is a small health centre and a pharmacy in Middlemass Hey, less than 200 yards from Bridgewater Park, and a second in nearby Belle Vale Road. There are also four dental surgeries within a mile of the development, two of them situated within the Belle Vale Shopping Centre.
Transport
Just two miles from the intersection of the M57 and M62 motorways, Bridgewater Park is convenient for travel throughout the north west. Central Liverpool, Warrington and St Helens are within easy reach and even Manchester is in commuting range. Huyton train station, less than two miles away, provides services to Manchester, Warrington and central Liverpool. John Lennon Airport is four miles from the development.

Education
The Norman Pannell Primary School is virtually adjacent to the development, and there is a choice of two other primary schools within a mile. There are also three secondary schools within 20 minutes walk.
