A touch of history
Dating from the early 19th Century the Category B listed school building designed by J T Rochard and later altered by veteran Glasgow architect John Honeyman, who later formed the famous architectural partnership Honeyman, Keppie and MacIntosh, was home to Keil School for 75 years.

Founded in 1915 by successful businessman Sir William MacKinnon and his nephew Duncan McNeil, their aim was to provide boys from the Western Highlands and Islands with education which would open up possibilities for their future.
