Bella May Resort is located on the Placencia peninsula, near the popular coastal town of Placenia, where there are many shops, restaurants and bars. Placencia is only a 20 minute flight from Belize City, or a stunning and scenic drive down the humming bird highway.

The resort comprises sixty waterfront two-bedroom apartments, with thirty on the beach and thirty on the lagoon. The buildings are either two or three stories. There are three apartment on each floor, all having the same internal area (over 1,000 sq.ft). The upper floor apartments in the two-storey buildings have double-height ceilings with exposed beams, as to the penthouse apartments in the three storey buildings.

There is a large pool, bar and small restaurant on the beach, with the main restaurant, bar and reception building being on the lagoon side.

With twin waterfronts overlooking both the Caribbean Sea and the Placenta Lagoon, the vistas at Bella Maya include white-sand beaches, islands and dolphins on one side, and the tranquil lagoon set against the backdrop of the Mayan Mountains on the other.

The emphasis is on views and location, which is why every spacious residence is right on the waterfront and the density is less that any comparable resort.

With arguable Belize’s most breathtaking restaurant, the waterfront decking and terrace are without doubt the most exclusive place to enjoy a drink or a meal whilst the sun sets beautifully every evening.
