From the South
Travelling from Sunderland through Cleadon Village on the A1018 heading north, follow the signs for South Shields Town Centre. Passing over 4 roundabouts on King George Road and passing South Tyneside college on your right, follow the signs for Town Centre. Straight over the next roundabout and onto the one way road system until the first set of traffic lights. Go through these, when some shops appear on both sides of the road you have reached Westoe Road. Take the third turning on your right onto Erskine Road, next to the blue sign for the Two Rivers Cycleway. Amytis Gardens is on your left.
From the North
Travelling on the A19 south from the Tyne Tunnel take the left hand slip road at the Lindisfarne Roundabout and follow the signs for South Shields on the A194. Pass over 3 roundabouts and at the fourth take the right turn sign posted South Shields Town Centre A194. Follow the signs for Town Centre negotiating 7 roundabouts and at the eighth turn right for Town Centre onto Crossgate. With South Shields Town Hall straight ahead, turn right at the traffic lights then first left onto Erskine Road next to the blue sign for Two Rivers Cycleway. Amytis Gardens is on your left.
