New Build Homebuy (sometimes called shared ownership or part-buy/part-rent) enables people to buy a share of a property being sold by Housing Hartlepool and pay a subsidised rent on the remainder. You can usually buy as little as a 25% share and up to a 75% share. The exact share you buy will depend on what is affordable to you. The combined monthly costs of the rent and the mortgage will normally be significantly less than buying a home outright.
