Development Details
Saxon Meadow is the fourth phase of our popular development in Hereford, which comprimises 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes.
Superbly situated on the banks of the River Wye, the ancient city of Hereford - with its stunning medieval architecture and quaint streets waiting to be explored - is a place where history and the 21st century blend seamlessly into each other.
Superbly situated on the banks of the River Wye, the ancient city of Hereford - with its stunning medieval architecture and quaint streets waiting to be explored - is a place where history and the 21st century blend seamlessly into each other.
But perhaps Hereford's greatest glory is its setting, at the very heart of Herefordshire, arguably England's loveliest county. For connoisseurs of gorgeous country pubs and rural pursuits of all kinds, it's hard to imagine a better place to be.
SHOPS
When it comes to shopping, Hereford has got it all. In the pedestrian-only High Town area, you will find the big High Street names, while nearby Butter Market is the place to go when you want to browse among a wide variety of stalls.
Regular farmers' markets supply superb local produce; and there is also an excellent choice of food and gifts in the Left Bank village, beside the river.
SCHOOLS
No need to worry about where your children will go to school when you move to Saxon Meadow. Hereford's educational facilities are a source of real local pride - from a choice of excellent nurseries, through well regarded primary and secondary schools, to the city's two first class colleges.
For more information visit the local government site.
TRANSPORT
Living in Hereford, you may never want to leave but when you do need to travel, whether for business or pleasure, you will find it is easy to reach your destination. Major commercial and cultural centres such as Cardiff, Bristol, Birmingham and Cheltenham are all within a 60 mile radius and less than an hour away be train; while London is a comfortable two hours and twenty minutes by rail.
There is a bus route on site which travells to and from the city centre.
HEALTH
There are plenty of medical clinics, dental practices and opticians in the area.
LEISURE
Hereford and healthy living go together naturally. There is an excellent swimming pool close to the Cathedral, and a well equipped leisure centre just to the north of the city, adjacent to Hereford racecourse.
There are top quality golf courses nearby and, with the Wye running right through to the city, there are unlimited opportunities for anglers and canoeists.
