Location
Shirebrook is a small town with a population of around 10,000. It has all the necessary local amenities, a large range of shops plus a fishing lake and skate park. A leisure centre is currently being re-developed in the town. For anything else, 6.5 miles to the south is Mansfield that has a large shopping centre
Travel
The Church Fields development is ideally located with excellent links to both Mansfield and Worksop. The main road through Shirebrook is the B6407 that links to the A60. The M1 can be reached just under 6 miles away and that links with Nottingham to the south and Sheffield and the A1(M) to the north
The town is served by plenty of buses and the train station connects the town with nearby towns, cities and the national train network around the country.
Shopping and Leisure
There is an array of convenient shops in Shirebrook, including a newsagents and a post office. Nearby Mansfield and Chesterfield both have large shopping centres. Sheffield Madowhall Shopping Centre is 26miles away.

For those not so into their shopping the Peak District National Park covers 555 square miles of beautiful countryside

4 miles from Shirebrook, Hardwick Hall is a 16th century manor house that survives today almost unchanged. Visitors can explore the house, its grounds and some of finest examples of embroideries and tapestries in Europe
Another 4 miles from Shirebrook is Stainsby Mill, a working 19th century mill that you can visit, to see how flour was milled
