Just to the north of this small but lively town is Glasdir, Ruthin. Backed by open pasture land, this delightful development will feature a wide variety of new homes, including 2 bedroom apartments and 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes. From families to first time buyers, there really is something for everyone here.
Families with children have a great choice of schools for all ages, with several less than a mile from the development. There are a number of local shops for your everyday needs, whilst Ruthin town centre is a delight to explore; including three supermarkets, a shopping centre and many specialist boutiques, quaint traditional stores and a crafts centre.
For entertainment and leisure there's the Sports Centre and Swimming Pool, Theatre John Ambrose, several pubs, restaurants, a night club, and of course the most wonderful countryside all around for walking, fishing, cycling and simply exploring.
At Glasdir, Ruthin, you're well placed to enjoy all that North Wales has to offer. For delightful days out you could enjoy walking or cycling through the majestic beauty of Snowdonia National Park. Or you could spend a day by the sea in North Wales or Anglesey. You have a choice of resorts to visit, including Colwyn Bay, Conwy and Bangor, where you can relax on the beach, explore the town, or discover a coastline renowned for its natural beauty.
For a bit of culture, there are numerous historic castles to visit in the region, including ruined Denbigh Castle which towers majestically above the town - which is well worth a visit. On a more relaxing note, especially for golf-lovers, Ruthin-Pwllglas golf course has been described as the 'Gleneagles of North Wales' providing a beautiful setting from tee-off right round to the 19th hole.
