The Grange is approximately 1.5 miles from the centre of Hailsham, a charming East Sussex market town with a long and rich history. In the 19th century it was known far and wide for its rope and twine manufacturing. It supplied ropes for the royal navy and also hangmans ropes for Britain and the Colonies! The local football team is known as 'The Stringers'.

The nearest station is Polegate (2.8miles), Ashford international (for Eurostar services) is 32 miles away, and there are ferries (in season) from Newhaven to France. The nearest airport is Gatwick (28 miles)

Directions
The development is located at the end of Lundy Walk, which can be reached by turning into Hempstead Lane from the A22 and then turning left into Anglesey Avenue. Follow Anglesey Avenue until you reach Lundy Walk, turn left into Lundy Walk and continue along the road until you reach the development.
From the A271, turn into London Road, turn right into Anglesey Avenue, take the second right into Lundy Walk.
Rail: The nearest rail connections to Hailsham are at Polegate station (Eastbourne to Lewes / Brighton / Gatwick / London-Victoria lines) and Battle station (Hastings to Tunbridge Wells / London-Charing Cross, line).
Sea: Sea crossings to Europe operate from nearby Newhaven (to Dieppe), and further (eastwards) along the coast at Folkestone and Dover (to Calais). The Channel Tunnel shuttle trains (vehicular) can be boarded at Folkestone, or the Eurostar passenger services, at Ashford.
