The A470 is another major road within the city that provides an important link to the north with the Heads of the Valleys road, mid and north Wales
The A4232 (also known as the Peripheral Distributor Road or PDR) forms part of the Cardiff ring-road system alongwith the M4 motorway between junctions 30 and 33.
Directions
From M4 exit 30 take A4232 to Cardiff. At roundabout take 3rd exit Pentwyn Link Road/A4232 and continue through one roundabout. At roundabout take 2nd exit A48 ramp to City Centre. Merge onto Eastern Avenue/A48 then take A4232 exit toward Cardiff E/Docks. At roundabout take 3rd exit. At roundabout take 1st exit Llanedeyrn Road. Continue onto Penylan Road then turn left into Colchester Avenue.
