Bromford Homes is offering the scheme at its Chaddesley Grange development.
The scheme, which is designed to help those who are struggling to get onto the property ladder, means that people can rent a new build property until they can afford to enter into a shared ownership.
Buyers would then purchase a share between 25 and 75 per cent.
A spokeswoman for Bromford Homes said the proposal offers consumers the chance to save for a deposit.
She added: "The beauty of this initiative is that people can feel settled in one of our new apartments right away. Then … they can purchase a share of what they can afford without having to move again."
The two bedroom apartments are just outside of Northfield town centre with off road parking available.
Prices start from £24,750 for a 25 per cent share and the show apartment is open to the public.
Bromford Homes has been in the housing industry for more than 40 years.
