An affordable way to step onto the property ladder is available now at Taylor Wimpey's Kings Quarter development in Kent.

  • Fast-moving first time buyers can step on the property ladder with ease thanks to the introduction of the First Buy scheme at Taylor Wimpey's Kings Quarter development in Chislehurst, Kent.

    This Government-backed initiative - newly launched at Kings Quarter - allows qualifying purchasers to secure selected two bedroom apartments in Chislehurst for just 80 per cent of their full price, including a 5 per cent deposit, subject to status.

    One of the new homes available with First Buy at Kings Quarter is the two bedroom Plot 52 Edlingham House apartment, which can be purchased by one lucky buyer for 80 per cent of its £245,000 full price - that's just £196,000, including a deposit of only £12,250.

    Each two bedroom apartment at Kings Quarter features a kitchen/dining/living room, two bedrooms, a main bathroom, plus allocated parking outside. Selected plots benefit from ensuite shower rooms to master bedrooms and Juliet balconies to living areas.

    All homes at the development are completed to a high standard specification, including energy efficient central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

    First Buy works through a joint loan of 20 per cent from the Homes and Communities Agency and Taylor Wimpey, which is repayable at the end of the 25 year mortgage term or when the property is sold.
