Buyers can now purchase a Redrow Homes property with a 95 per cent mortgage even if they are opting to part exchange their previous property.

  • Thanks to a recent change in the rules, which had previously prevented a part exchange scheme being used in conjunction with 95 per cent mortgages through NewBuy, more buyers than ever before can get valuable help to move.

It's fantastic news for those without substantial equity in their current home as they can now upgrade to a brand new home with a deposit of as little as 5 per cent, while Redrow Homes effectively acts as cash for their existing property.

Anita Williams, sales director for Redrow Homes in the north west, said: "This is fantastic news for homebuyers in Winsford. Many, who dreamt of moving home but were being held back by the usual obstacles such as finance and lack of time, could now find they are able to purchase.

"With NewBuy, a brand new home is more affordable than ever before. And part exchange takes the stress and hassle away as customers will simply be able to trade in their old home towards the cost of a new one. Combining NewBuy and part exchange means there really is no reason not to make that move in 2013."

The part exchange and NewBuy initiatives are still available to use as standalone incentives and Redrow Homes will tailor packages to suit individual customers.

For those looking for a new home in Winsford, the final four bedroom properties at Redrow Homes' St John's development are on the market from £185,000.

Featuring designs from Redrow Homes' New Heritage Collection, the homes combine traditional Arts and Crafts inspired architecture with bright, modern interiors.

Among the final homes for sale is the former four bedroom Windsor show home, complete with designer décor, carpets, curtains, light fittings and the option of the furniture package to be included.

Its open plan kitchen/dining room is the hub of the home, with patio doors onto the garden making it a bright, airy space. The kitchen has integrated top brand name appliances including microwave, oven and fridge freezer, plus tall cabinets and extra wide drawers that offer plenty of storage.

Throughout the show home, interior designers have used a light ivory palette with soft pearlescent hints, silver metallics and subtle accents of plum to create a home that any family would be proud to call their own.

The separate lounge has a relaxing feel. Feature wallpaper has a pearlescent background and a soft wisteria pattern, while the walnut furniture is contemporary in style.
