The developer has revealed the name and the first artist's impression of its exciting new Later Living development in Dunstable.

  • With construction underway on the 32 one and two bedroom Later Living apartments on High Street North, Dunstable, McCarthy & Stone has taken inspiration from the local area to name the development Elliott Court, after a thriving family business that survived in Dunstable for two generations before its demise in the mid 19th Century.

Britain's leading retirement specialist has also released the first artist's impression of Elliott Court. The drawing illustrates how the site will look when it is completed in July 2013. Retirees are being invited to register their interest now and be among the first to receive information about the new apartments once they are released for sale.

Gill Sabin, regional sales and marketing director for McCarthy & Stone, commented: "We pride ourselves on building communities and not just homes, so we always aim to select names for our new developments that will have real meaning to the local residents. As with all McCarthy & Stone developments, Elliott Court will offer independence combined with the peace of mind of additional security, low maintenance and companionship.

"And with stylish designs tailored specifically for the over 60s and an attractive location with access to a range of everyday amenities - Elliott Court ticks all the boxes. I'd encourage prospective buyers to register their interest to avoid disappointment."

Elliott Court is ideally located on the corner of High Street North and Chiltern Road, just a short walk from the shops and amenities of Dunstable town centre.

Each property offers continued home ownership and will be designed with Later Living in mind, providing an environment that not only offers independence but also companionship, privacy and security.

Elliott Court features thoughtful design features such as 24 hour personal emergency call service and a camera TV entry system for added security. A relaxed community feel is created through the provision of a shared lounge and extensive landscaped gardens, with visiting family and friends also being provided for in the development's guest suite.
