The Government's First Buy initiative is available at Kingshill Grange, Taylor Wimpey's new development in the Buckinghamshire town.

  • The scheme lets qualifying purchasers secure Taylor Wimpey's houses and apartments in High Wycombe for 80 per cent of the full purchase price - including a 75 per cent mortgage and a 5 per cent deposit, subject to status.

    First Buy is available now with the Penn, a one bedroom apartment priced at just £169,995, or from as little as £135,996 through First Buy.

    Alternatively, there is a choice of apartments, including two bedroom apartments priced from £199,995, along with a choice of four and five bedroom houses, priced from just £339,995.

    A selection of seven newly built homes in High Wycombe is coming soon from Taylor Wimpey in Amersham Road, while Cliveden Grange in nearby Marlow will comprise a selection of three, four and five bedroom houses, all situated in the historic town on the banks of the River Thames.

    First Buy works through a joint loan of 20 per cent from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) and Taylor Wimpey, which means that eligible purchasers only need put down a 5 per cent deposit and obtain a 75 per cent loan-to-value mortgage.

    The loan is repayable at the end of the 25 year mortgage term or when the property is sold. To be eligible, purchasers must be first time buyers and their total household earnings should be less than £60,000.

    The development has road links to the M40, M25 and the A404, and is just over a mile from High Wycombe railway station, which offers regular services to London Marylebone in less than 40 minutes.

    High Wycombe's town centre has recently undergone a major regeneration, and offers a range of high street and independent shops, plus a wealth of bars, restaurants, entertainment and leisure facilities including a theatre, a multi-screen cinema and a bowling alley.
