  • Taylor Wimpey is delighted to welcome a new sales and marketing director to the team based at the company's regional head office in Leicester.

Mariana Knight joins Taylor Wimpey with over 25 years' experience, including the last 13 years as a sales and marketing director in the housebuilding industry - so she is more than qualified for her new role with the East Midlands new homes developer.

Dominic Harman, managing director of Taylor Wimpey East Midlands, says: "Mariana brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Taylor Wimpey East Midlands.

"She joins us at a very exciting time, with nine new developments set to be launched this year to complement our 17 currently active developments, delivering much-needed new homes for sale in the East Midlands, including Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Peterborough, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.

"Mariana's in-depth, creative knowledge will add value to the customer experience of buying a new home from the East Midlands' most established new homebuilder."

Previously employed by Persimmon Homes and Westbury, Knight is looking forward to the challenges that her new role - with overall responsibility for the sale of Taylor Wimpey homes across six counties - will bring.

"I'm delighted to be joining Taylor Wimpey East Midlands at this exciting time, with all the new developments coming soon to help deliver great-value brand new homes across the region," she says.

"I'm very fortunate to have a highly experienced team already in place with a superb reputation for exceptional customer care, so I'm looking forward to hitting the ground running."

Taylor Wimpey East Midlands offers a wide range of high quality homes for sale at developments across Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Peterborough.
