Barratt Homes has revealed a sure fire way to maintain the phenomenal success enjoyed at its Valley View development.

  • Barratt Homes has moved in some of its most experienced staff. And according to a recent sales surge - it's working.

Valley View has welcomed senior sales adviser Sue Stoddart and site manager Richard Yeadon to its team. It seems the changes at this must-see development are already acting as a further boost to its popularity, with four homes being sold in the last four weeks alone.

As well as new faces, buyers have been pleased to see some exciting changes to home styles. The ever-popular 'Sutton' house type has been redesigned to offer even more convenient living spaces for busy modern lives. The ground floor comprises a must-see dining kitchen and WC, as well as single garage, while the first floor boasts a spacious living room with the added bonus of increased privacy due to elevation and bedroom three. The second floor offers another two fantastic bedrooms, the master complete with ensuite and a family bathroom.

Buyers interested in one of these homes could be moving with a deposit of as little as 5 per cent thanks to Help to Buy. The scheme dramatically improves the prospect of owning or moving home, as it reduces the deposit required to just 5 per cent and enables qualifying customers to access low cost mortgage finance. The scheme provides new build homebuyers with the prospect of a 20 per cent equity loan from the Government, with no interest payable for the first five years.

Early research into the division's Help to Buy purchasers has shown that 57 per cent of those to reserve in the region are buying three bedroom properties, showing the scheme is supporting those moving up the property ladder, as well as first time buyers.

Current availability includes a fabulous mix of three and four bedroom homes with prices starting from just £175,995, this could mean a deposit as low as £8799.75.

Valley View is situated amid spectacular scenery alongside Hebble Brook and offers a range of stylish properties within great proximity to Halifax, Leeds and Bradford. Buyers here will also be able to take advantage of some more local amenities including a new village pub and nursery.

Sue Stoddart, senior sales adviser at Valley View said: "I am thrilled to be working at this exciting development. Valley View is popular with a range of buyers for its home styles and excellent location.

"The bonus of being able to assist both first time buyers and those moving up the property ladder into new home thanks to Help to Buy is a massive plus and I am confident that working with Richard at such an appealing development we will see a prolonged surge in interest here."
