Taylor Wimpey is sponsoring the 2012 Fleet Half Marathon in association with its Hightrees and Queensacre developments in Church Crookham.
Taylor Wimpey is part-sponsoring the runners marquee at the race HQ in Calthorpe Park, Fleet, as well as providing the race maps and park layout plans on display for visitors to the park.
Taylor Wimpey Church Crookham's support for the event on Sunday March 25 builds on its existing connections with the race organisers, Fleet and Crookham Athletics Club.
The club eventually hopes to relocate to the new Crookham Park development, located on the site of the former Queen Elizabeth Barracks, where a host of sports facilities is planned over time as the development of houses and flats to buy in Church Crookham takes shape.
Fleet Half Marathon is a high profile fixture on the local calendar, attracting 3,000 competitors, and is used by many runners as a key part of their preparation for the London Marathon.
Race director Penny Abbott explains: "It's exciting another local company wanting to get involved in the Fleet Half Marathon. It's a big event - this is our 31st year - and every year we rely on our sponsors to help it carry on.
"So we're really pleased Taylor Wimpey is supporting us and appreciates what the event adds to the community of Fleet. It's very easy for these events to disappear and once they've gone they don't tend to start again, so it's great for us that we have a number of companies to help keep the event going."
The first two phases of the Crookham Park development - Hightrees and Queensacre - were launched by Taylor Wimpey at the end of last year.

In time, the development will benefit from a brand new community centre, allotments, children's play areas, sports facilities, an athletics track, shop units and business space, as well as attractive open space, paths and woodland trails.
Creed adds: "The athletics club has been involved with the discussions with the developers and we're hoping to relocate to the new leisure facilities at Crookham Park. It's is an up-and-coming area so it's an ideal site for us to be looking at having our new home."
