  • Taylor Wimpey has launched its new Sonnets Place development to meet demand from local buyers looking to purchase a new house before the end of the year.

The site in Hermitage will be home to a selection of three and four bedroom properties, with prices starting from £270,000.

One of the first homes to be completed is the three bedroom, semi-detached 'Halliford' home, which provides ample room for families and first time buyers alike.

The ground floor offers a spacious living room and kitchen/dining area which features French doors to the rear garden, while the first floor houses three bedrooms and a master bathroom.

Two of the bedrooms are doubles and the master bedroom features the added luxury of an ensuite shower room.

Darren McCormack, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey, said the house builder is "really excited" about the launch of the new homes at the development.

"Sonnets Place builds on the success of our other developments within the area and will provide further high quality homes that Taylor Wimpey is renowned for," he explained.

The development was originally planned to be opened in early 2013, but local buyers have been enquiring about the properties and registering their interest in purchasing before Christmas, which encouraged Taylor Wimpey to release the first homes now.

"I would advise anyone thinking of moving home to get in touch, as these properties are likely to be snapped up very quickly," McCormack added.

The four bedroom Kentdale offers style and practicality and the benefit of its location in the picturesque village of Hermitage, which is surrounded by countryside and woodlands.

The village itself provides everything you need for day to day living, with a general store, post office, butchers, pubs, coffee shop, doctors and dentists and supermarkets just five miles from the development.

Hermitage is well-connected when it comes to transport, as it has links to the A34 and M4, providing access to almost anywhere in the country and nearby train stations offering services to nearby Reading and London.ADNFCR-1100-ID-801483244-ADNFCR
