The developer will also be providing a seven acre area of public open space which will include several play areas, a football pitch and changing facilities.
Richard Goad, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey, commented: "We're really excited to have acquired this land in Keynsham and we look forward to bringing yet another development of high quality new homes to the region. We appreciate the affinity the local community has with the area and will be making every effort to keep them informed throughout the project.
"Due to the vast range of houses we will be offering at The Meadows, we are expecting to appeal to both first time buyers as well as established families looking to move to the area. We anticipate the new show area to open in the autumn, so I urge potential house hunters to register their interest and be the first to receive information about our pre sales day."
