  • The Arcon Village site in Horwich is home to a three bedroom property, which was previously an 18th century bleach works. It is now available from developer Redrow Homes for £250,000.

According to the house builder, the property's orange, gold and grey colour scheme highlights the interior's "glamour", while the "expensive DIY problems" that come with buying a new home have been eradicated.

Lesley Myers, area sales manager for Redrow, said: "Nowadays, people's lives are very busy due to work or personal commitments, so buying a new home that has been designed and decorated by the experts … can be the route to a quick an easy move."

Elsewhere in the country, two four bedroom show homes at the Scholars Way development in St Helens are due to be opened by house uilder Miller Homes this month.ADNFCR-1100-ID-18809721-ADNFCR
