  • House-hunters struggling to sell their home, or keen to avoid the hassle of a property chain, are invited to find out how they can part exchange for a beautiful detached house at Sandringham Grange, Taylor Wimpey's prestigious development of new homes in Ruislip.

The leading housebuilder is holding a Part Exchange Weekend on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th March to give home-owners more information about trading up to a luxurious six bedroom Ruislip property at this sought-after gated community.

Would-be buyers will have the chance to speak to property professionals about the many benefits of moving to a new property for sale in Ruislip with this tried and tested scheme, including an independent financial advisor and the owner of local estate agency Coopers for advice on the price of their property.

But with just nine houses for sale in Ruislip remaining at Sandringham Grange, prospective purchasers are urged to make sure they attend the event, or they could risk missing out.

Tim Betts, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey, says: "The process of selling, buying and moving to a new home can be a frustrating and time-consuming experience.

"But our Part Exchange initiative takes away the stress of finding a buyer and eliminates the property chain altogether, meaning the customer can sit back, relax and look forward to moving to a brand new maintenance-free home.

"The popularity of the initiative means these final nine properties to buy in Ruislip are likely to sell fast, so with that in mind, I would urge would-be movers to pay us a visit during our Part Exchange Weekend to find out more while they can."

Part Exchange customers receive the market value of their existing property, based on the average of independent professional valuations, and can stay in their old place until their new home at Sandringham Grange is ready.

The initiative is available with selected six bedroom 'Lancaster' detached houses at Sandringham Grange, priced from £670,000.

The 'Lancaster' features a generous open plan downstairs living space comprising a living/dining room flowing through to a light and airy conservatory, while a contemporary fitted kitchen and a guest cloakroom can also be found off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the first floor landing leads to a magnificent ensuite master bedroom with walk-in dressing area and private balcony, plus three further double bedrooms and a main bathroom.

Two additional double bedrooms, which could alternatively be used as a home office, games or media room, can be found on the top floor along with a shower room, while the property also benefits from an integral garage and driveway parking.

All homes at the development are completed to a high standard specification, including energy efficient central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

At the turn of the 20th century, Ruislip was a small community of around 530 cottages. That close knit atmosphere has continued as the district has flourished, and today Sandringham Grange blends in effortlessly with the vibrant and diverse area that lies beyond its gates.

Every convenience of modern life can be found in Ruislip, including excellent shopping facilities featuring Waitrose and Marks & Spencer, while a wider choice of outlets are nearby at The Chimes Shopping Centre in Uxbridge.

Commuters choosing to enjoy Sandringham Grange's laidback lifestyle are well catered for, with the M40 and M25 a 15 minute drive away and direct local bus services to Pinner, Northwood and Ruislip. The development is also within walking distance of a number of stations on the Metropolitan, Piccadilly and Central lines.
