Like the rest of Lancashire, Lancaster prides itself on the availability of excellent local produce. Sample it in cosy pubs and swish restaurants throughout the town. Or shop for hearty local specialities at the Farmer's Market on Market Square, which takes place every second Wednesday.
There are a number of primary and secondary schools within walking distance, plus Lancaster and Morecambe College is only a short 10 minute drive away.
Lancaster has something for everyone, from browsing the city centre independent boutiques and Margate Shopping Centre, to a superb range of diverse cafés, pubs, bars and restaurants. All of this is just a short drive from the M6 motorway and Lancaster train station.
There are regular bus services to nearby Morecambe and the surrounding towns with a town service bus running approx every 20 minutes. Trains are often and you travel much further afield to Manchester on the Trans Pennine Express or via Preston.
There are plenty local parks and gardens as well as gym's and fitness centre's to choose from. Lancaster Hospital and Royal Lancaster Infirmary are also close at hand.
Exit the M6 at Junction 33 and onto the A6 towards (Lancaster South), At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Preston Lancaster Rd/A6, Turn left onto Damside, continue onto St. George's Quay then onto New Quay Rd.
